This place is quite a little gem located in Boyle Heights next to El Mariachi Plaza. It can be taken right out of a Robert Rodriguez or Quentin Tarantino movie. It’s a beer and wine bar, their specialty is a Sangria. The owners really put a lot of heart into it. The decor is dark with a Latino Vampire flavor, tables with banquettes along the side and a long sunken bar and all this makes it special.

The walls are covered with displays of art from local artist and they’re changed frequently so you may see some Calavera paintings you absolute love and next month it will be replaced with something new.

Staff is great, the bartenders are fast and efficient with bringing you your drinks quickly. On occasion they have mariachi perform and sometimes there is a surprise burlesque show.

They have both live music and DJ’s with various nights of new and old music. They offer 80’s, Rap, Rock En Español, Cumbias to Morrisey.

They tend to switch to Deep House as the hours approaches 2am so there’s a familiar song that will be played for everyone’s liking.
