Line Hotel - Koreatown sign
Stayed here on NYE. Located just across the street from the metro purple line. Centrally located between Beverly Hills, Downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood. I had a great room. The floor to ceiling windows gave a spectacular view of Ktown. The other side of the hotel has a view of the Hollywood sign. The room incorporates materials that would not usually be considered luxurious or elegant.
It had an industrial loft feel with its bare concrete walls and floor. The furniture was mid sixties art deco original artwork from LA based artists and custom designed furnishings from Mibs Venice base studio.

The powered blinds made me feel like I was in a futuristic hotel. They have two restaurants, a coffee shop and an outdoor food truck all by Koreatown’s own Roy Choi. The main lobby has DJ’s on the weekends and a wonderful place to work. There are two speakeasy nightclubs by the Houston brothers. Overall the Line Hotel is the kind of boutique hotel that you think of when they say boutique hotel.
