Suites Corazon - room

Suites Corazon is a quiet budget hotel in the heart of Playa del Carmen with a rooftop pool. The hotel was relatively new and in excellent condition, with everything being top-notch and very clean. Its central location near bars and nightclubs, just off the popular 5th Avenue (the main pedestrian shopping street), is perfect. However, it’s situated on a quieter street far enough away from the noise. Nearby, there is an OXXO, banks, restaurants, and other amenities. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away, and I could request beach/pool towels from the front desk.

Both the day and night staff were exceptionally pleasant, friendly, and helpful, and they all spoke English well. The woman at the reception desk was the kindest person I’ve ever met. My room was spacious and clean, with quality fittings, a large, comfortable king bed, and a leather chair and sofa in the sitting area. The rooms are like little studios with everything one needs, including a small kitchen, coffee maker, minimal utensils, fridge, and microwave. The room was thoughtfully equipped with plenty of power outlets, a huge smart TV, air conditioning, and even lights in the closet. The WIFI was fast, with plenty of bandwidth, and there was a comfortable office chair and a desk for any digital nomad or remote worker.

The bathroom was really nice, with a great shower, and there was plenty of room for toiletries on the counter. The balcony was big enough to sit outside in the evening and enjoy the sunset (since my room was facing the front). My room was on the third floor, and the elevator worked well and was fast.

On the fourth floor, there was a rooftop pool/spa area with a large hot tub. I loved the upstairs pool rooftop sundeck to relax after a day at the beach
