Hotel Aqua Rio Tijuana Bedroom

Newly remodeled Hotel Aqua Rio is a clean and safe budget hotel in Tijuana. From the moment I arrived, I could tell that the staff put a lot of effort into maintaining a high standard, as they were constantly cleaning and touching up any paint or deficits. The hotel has parking on the property, and a personal bar for guests to enjoy. In addition to a complimentary continental breakfast, there is a  seating area where guests can congregate to eat and mingle. The only downside is that the hotel doesn’t have elevators. Some guests arrived late at night and made noise, but this was not the norm.

The hotel is located in a quiet location but still easily accessible to the Tijuana city center and the nightlife places on Revolucion. It is in a good quiet neighborhood, but it can get dark at night. There are many surrounding restaurants.

The front desk staff was very polite and accommodating to me, even though my Spanish is limited. The receptionist used Google Translator to communicate, and they did everything possible to accommodate me.

I had a newly renovated king-size room with an AC, TV, and coffee maker. The memory foam top mattress was super comfortable, and the room was really clean. I had plenty of space for all my things. I liked decorative lighting and the electric fireplace with lighted flames.  Although shelf-like work area was small it was just big enough for a laptop. The fast Wifi made it very digital nomad friendly.

The bathroom was very nice, with a stylish sink, and the shower had good water pressure with plenty of hot water. The towels were clean and good quality
